CD wicks are versatile and work well in more viscous waxes, such as single pour paraffin and soy (vegetable) waxes. The correct candle wick is one of the most important steps in making soy candles, choose the correct wick and you will have a wonderful even burning soy candle. Choosing the incorrect wick can cause the following: A wick too large will produce a flame too big and risk of jar getting too hot and melting the wax quicker than ideal.
